Moped’s House

Established in the year 1984, as an initiative to fulfil the after-market demands of, specifically, moped’s parts and accessories in Guwahati, by the eldest of all his siblings- Mr. Sagar Mal Baid. He recognised the potential that the 2-wheeler industry had in the North-East Region of India and decided to tap it with a little investment of Rs. 20,000 that the family had and operated through a working area of 35 sq. ft initially. The business showed a promising outcome by resulting in a total turnover of Rs. 6 Lakhs (approximately) in the first FY of 1984-85. The journey since then, took off on a positive note and Sagar Ji was subsequently joined by his younger siblings into the business who took on their respective roles as needed to contribute towards the growth of the organisation and the family as a whole.
